The Philosophy: We want to ensure that Preferred College of Nursing (PCN) is a pleasant environment conducive to student's academic success and provide opportunities for their personal growth and development. PCN staff and management consider discipline as a tool for guiding and teaching rather than punishment. Since behavior, which is not in keeping with acceptable standards, is often symptomatic of attitudes, misconceptions, and emotional crises, the treatment of these symptoms through education, rehabilitative activities, corrective measures, and solution strategies is an essential element of the disciplinary process to be undertaken by the Office of Student Affairs and Discipline. Our Mission: The Office of Student Affairs and Discipline (OSAD) has overall responsibility for student welfare and student life on campus. This office is committed to accomplish the following:
